None of this would be possible without the friends and peers that have helped me out when I needed it most. No one can stand alone.

The Other Authors

If you’re in the queer web serial space, you’ve probably heard of Hungry, the author of Katalepsis and Necroepilogos. Hungry is an incredible writer and a lovely person, and I’m being completely sincere when I say that without her encouragement I don’t think I could have kept writing Feast or Famine through all the hardships and failures that came with it. She makes me want to believe in my own writing, and for that I’ll always be grateful.

Trollmore has been a friend of mine for longer than I’ve been publishing web fiction. They write Godslayers, and their keenly psychological perspective on writing was a huge help in the early chapters of both Feast or Famine and This Magical Girl is Mine. They’re also just really fun to hang out with, a great problem-solver, and my sworn rival in Magic: the Gathering.

One of my favorite newer serials has been Sunspot, by Yootie. When I caught up on their story at the end of the second arc, I bemoaned how well it engaged with certain topics that I had only been thinking about shallowly in my planning of This Magical Girl is Mine. Their DMs have been a reliable resource for me through the process of preparing for the public release of TMGM, and they’re another good person that I’m happy to know.

matt: author of unpublished vampire fiction, obsessed with the europa fish and tom clancy’s the division 2.

averi: unique perspective, writing fiction that breaks the mold, here is a novella i was a beta reader for

The Contributors

My best friend in the world is Vega, an artist that I’ve known for years and who used to be my roommate. He made the banner for this site, my profile picture on all social media, the chibi versions of my characters, and the cover for This Magical Girl is Mine. The visual presentation of my stories wouldn’t be half as appealing without his expert hand bringing my incredibly vague visions to crisp, detailed life. He takes commissions and sells merch, too!

The webmaster of this site is Alex, an ADHD computer genius who designs CPUs for a living and sets up servers in her closet for fun. Without her expertise and resources, this website just wouldn’t exist and I’d still be confined to Royal Road. Her posting game perhaps eclipses my own, and she’s a delight to know. She did not edit this page to praise herself.

My Wonderful Partner

Friends and peers are all well and good, but there’s nothing quite like a partner you can trust and rely on. My beloved wife, Jeannette, means more to me than I can ever say, though rest assured I’ll never stop speaking about my immense love for it. Jeannette is my home. Its support for me has meant the world for my mental health and stability, and it’s the reason I get up every morning and keep going. I love you, Jeannette. I always will.
